Oromucosal solution pre-filled oral syringes (Buccolam®) 2.5mg/0.5ml, 5mg/1ml, 7.5mg/1.5ml, 10mg/2ml Buccal liquid (Epistatus ®) 10mg/1mL Status epilepticus. When an oral midazolam preparation is prescribed, a licensed product should be prescribed. Buccal midazolam is available as both a 5mg/ml and 10mg/ml solution. To avoid confusion prescribe midazolam buccal solution using the brand name and state the dose in milligrams (mg) and millilitres (ml). |
