Tablets 2.5mg Hyperprolactinaemic disorders. Healthcare professionals are reminded that bromocriptine should only be used for prevention or suppression of postpartum lactation where medically indicated, in cases such as intrapartum loss, neonatal death, or a mother with HIV infection. It should not be used for routine suppression of lactation, or for relieving symptoms of postpartum breast pain and engorgement. Blood pressure should be carefully monitored, especially during the first days of treatment. |
